Brief

SIGG’s China licensee asked us to design the first footwear collection for the Swiss bottle maker. The run styles had to cover the city, the gym, and the trail, and follow the Swiss design principles set out in the Creative Direction.

Process

Early concepts explored silhouettes built for the gym, road, and trail, then split each upper into geometric color blocking inspired by the Swiss cross. The motif carries through to the outsole, where a grid of crosses forms the traction, developed with Vibram. Each design was refined in 3D before sampling.
