Brief

Extend the SL Loop Runner into a mid-top, keeping the family’s looped stripes while building the upper for colder months.

Process

The concepts explored how far the loop could go. Beyond a design feature, it became the construction: crossing webbing straps loop through the laces and wrap the upper, forming the moc toe and giving the shoe its structure. The webbing loops continue up the collar and finish at the heel as a pull loop. A new faceted, lugged outsole was designed to complement the shoe’s more outdoor aesthetic.
