Brief

Design a lifestyle mid-top for adidas Originals with a premium court-shoe base and an upper built for bold color blocking.

Process

Concepts ranged from low, perforated court shoes to taller mids, testing bold three stripes, collar straps, and a heel blocking that continues along the sole. The final direction landed on an oversized serrated heel panel, drawn from the signature serrated stripes of adidas heritage models.
